Andalucian Cycling Experience

The Andalucian Cycling Experience is a friendly, fun, family business. It provides family and leisure cycling holidays through many beautiful 'Pueblos Blancos' (White Villages) of Andalucia. The rides are all rated 'Easy' and are completed at your own pace with as many rest stops and photo stops as you wish. Options for family cycling are either a point to point White Village Tour or to be based in Montecorto and ride out each day. If based in Montecorto, you can decide exactly how far you wish to ride and, if required, can be picked up in the support van when you have had your fill of cycling.

Destinations Spain: based in Montecorto, Andalucia.

There are options of staying in a villa, townhouse or farmhouse:

Villa. This sleeps up to six people and is in Montecorto. The villa has a fully epuiped kitchen, lounge with TV, bathroom, sun terrace, garden with BBQ area and a swimming pool.
Town house. This sleeps four people and is in the centre of Montecorto. The house has a fully equiped kitchen,washing machine, lounge with Hi-Fi, roof terrace and a courtyard for safe storage of the bikes. Both bedrooms are en-suite.
Farmhouse. An idyllic rural hotel which has been converted from a traditional Spanish farmhouse or Cortijo. This option is on a bed and breakfast basis, evening meals are available from the hotel.

Cycling: Bikes either, Trek Hybrids with front suspension or hard-tail Orbea mountain bikes with disc brakes are provided. Tag-alongs and buggies can be provided for those family members too young to ride independently. Rides are tailored to suit ability and fitness levels, but if you find the rides too demanding you can call upon the support van to to be picked up! Buggies are available for 1 - 3 year olds. Tag-alongs for 3 - 7 year olds.

Other Activities: Kayak canoeing, archery, hiking, canyoning, rock climbing, horse riding and caving. All these activities are arranged through other local companies.

1 year. 7 year olds ride independently.

CycleActive offer a wide range of cycling holidays and courses throughout the world for all levels of rider. They have 2 family biking holidays designed to satisfy kids and adults alike. The first is a cycle tour through the villages, mountains, beaches and forests of rural Cuba. The second is a hotel based activity week at Lake Garda in Italy. Here the week’s activities are based around alternate days of family mountain bike rides on easier terrain then more demanding rides for more experienced bikers only. Family members not riding on the more demanding days are offered a range of alternative activities to choose from. All of the holidays are graded by skill and fitness level to help you choose the most appropriate holiday for your famliy. CycleActive also offer junior cycling courses and daily bike rentals from their base in Cumbria.

Destinations Cuba: Havana, Trinidad, Escambray mountains, Santa Clara, La Guira National Park, Vinales Valley.
Italy: Lake Garda activity week.
Accommodation 2* or 3* hotels with en-suites and swimming pools.
Activities Cycling: Bikes can be rented at your destination or you can take your own. Tag-alongs can be rented or you can purchase your own through the CycleActive discount scheme and then take it with you on holiday. All flights are planned with cycle carriage in mind.
Other Activities: Swimming, snorkelling, walking and sightseeing along the route in Cuba. At Lake Garda, non-riders are offered a a range of activities such as windsurf lessons, sailing, boat and cable car trips, mountain hikes, via ferrata trips and climbing lessons.
Childcare Babysitting can be organised on some nights.

Go Camping UK

Go Camping UK offer a variety of family cycling and camping holidays in Norfolk and Suffolk. There is a self-guided camping and cycling tour around the Suffolk Coastal Route passing through heathland, forests and rural countryside. Maps, easy to follow directions and a breakdown backup service are provided, plus all your luggage and food is transferred for you whilst you cycle from campsite to campsite. Or try the all-inclusive activity breaks based on the stunning north Norfolk coast. The family friendly cycling breaks offer a wide range of activities including a cycle based treasure hunt exploring sights and attractions around the North Norfolk countryside. Your time will be spent with the Go Camping UK team and fellow campers within a relaxed atmosphere, where meals and activities are enjoyed together. Finally, for a very easy going cycling and camping break, cycle some of the supplied routes and trails around one of Go Camping UK’s Suffolk campsites, ideal for young families with some shorter routes and off road trails.

Destinations UK: Norfolk, Suffolk.

Accommodation is in ready pitched luxury eurotents or standard eurotents on a choice of campsites throughout Norfolk and Suffolk, selected for their stunning locations and unique camping experiences.

The ready pitched luxury eurotents offer a high degree of camping comfort and come equipped with fridge, lighting, table, chairs and a fully equipped kitchen with crockery, utensils and cooking equipment. Each tent can sleep up to 6 people. Racks are also provided to store and secure your bikes.

The ready pitched standard eurotents offer camping comfort at an affordable price and come equipped with lighting, table, chairs and a kitchen equipped with crockery, utensils, cooking equipment and cool box. The tent can sleep 4-6 people on camping airbeds.


Cycling: Go Camping UK supply a range of bikes from mountain bikes, for exploring the forests and heaths, to hybrid bikes, ideal for the tour holiday. All children from age 1 upwards are catered for with a range of child seats, trailers, tag-a-longs and children’s bikes.

Other Activities: The Norfolk activity week includes orienteering, boat cruise and a cycle treasure hunt.

Minimum Age

Younger children are catered for with a tag-along, kiddy trailer or child seat until they are able to ride independently, usually about 8 years old for a tour or activity break, Small bikes are also available for children aged about 5 and older on the single campsite holidays.
