About Luxury Holidays - Holiday Companies
Luxury Family Holidays

This category is all about one thing - luxury! Luxury in terms of accommodation, facilities, quality of childcare and the holiday experience itself. In this section, the holidays cut across many different activities, but the one thing that they all have in common is the superb standard of holiday provided.

Luxury family holidays give you chance to really enjoy your holiday experience, staying in exceptional accommodation and without the worry of the daily chores such as cleaning and cooking. This is particularly rewarding for parents who really appreciate the chance to take a well-earned break and relax for a while!.
Types of Luxury Family Holiday

Luxury holidays are available for many of the different types of activity and adventure holiday. There are holidays where you can retreat to luxury accommodation in the French countryside with plenty of onsite activities for all the family to enjoy. Or how about a catered ski chalet in the Alps with doorstep skiing and the services of your own chef? You can even explore in style on a luxury adventure holiday staying in an Indian palace or a converted Moroccan kasbah.

Age Ranges

The age range for these holidays depends on the type of activity being pursued. Generally there is no age limit to stay in the actual accommodation but there may be age limits for activities such as skiing, watersports or to travel on a luxury adventure holiday.

Choosing Your Luxury Holiday
These are some things to think about before you book your luxury family holiday:

Activity – What sort of activity holiday are you interested in? Is it important for you to take part in activities as a family? Or do you wish to pumsue activities on an individual basis?

Location – Which country and region do you wish to visit?

> Catering - Decide whether a catered or self-catered holiday is right for you. On some holidays, you can enjoy a catered meal on a couple of evenings of the week and self cater for the other evenings.
> Childcare – Luxury holidays often provide childcare tailored to your needs. Maybe a dedicated creche, the services of your own private nanny or a few evenings babysitting. Childcare may be available every day of your holiday or just on a certain number of days. It may be included in the price or available for an extra charge. Look for a company that offers you the balance of childcare to meet your needs.
> Other Facilities – Some of the luxury holiday accommodation offers facilities such as swimming pools, saunas, games rooms and play areas.
Equipment Provided
Many of the luxury holiday options will provide you with baby equipment (sterilisers, high chairs, cots, baby baths, potties) and children's toys to save you having to bring these items with you. There may also be a DVD player with a selection of children's films.
Other Items To Take With You

Camera – To record your favourite holiday moments.

> Book – You might actually get chance to read it.
